Internet versus Library

I read a book a day for three years. Depending upon size, also read two books in one day. That meant a lot of visits to the local library. Do not have television and do not even have a radio. After laptop WiFi broke, had an hour a day of Internet, six days a week. Which is why I was a frequent visitor. I might have 13 books piled at home, but can not seem to leave, after using computer, without checking out another book. Or three or five.

Two things caused me to splurge on Internet at home. Internet at home, slowed down reading. It took me two weeks to read one book Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah. That book is a couple hours read ~ when I still had a personal library I re-read that and Jonathon Livingston Seagull every year.

Think I burned out on reading! I was almost done with every book by Edna Buchanan ~ returned three without reading them. Can always check them out again at later date.
