My exes nephew made a career out of being institutionalized. I wrote for him a while. I forget what he told me, he had spent more years of his adult life in jails than out of them. I babysat for him when he was a child. I guess that is "kidsat." He was a holy terror and liar. Many years later, when he was maybe 18, visiting, he told me I was the only one he respected ~ because I did not take any of his BS.
Was he just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear? LOL knowing he was a notorious liar, I believed he was sincere. His only son died in a car accident, I think. When we were writing letters he mentioned needing postage stamps. I sent him postage stamps only to find out that we are not allowed to send them, were supposed to send money to inmates to put on their whatchamacallit. Then they could buy them. So Is sent some money.
Learned that my daughter and his grandmother both kept sending him money for postage stamps. I was angry that I let the rascal fool me. I only half believed that he had found Jesus, turned over a new leaf, was reformed. Yet I fell for his stamp lie.
Soon after he was released from jail, he committed another crime and was sent right back. The next time he was on the streets he and a lady friend, robbed a woman ~ I think also assaulted her. Drug deal gone wrong or something like that. He took off and was later arrested in another state. He did not spend much time in jail that last time. Obviously the state did not check other states for they would have found a warrant for his arrest.
Probably still on probation. He is or was on Facebook. Last I heard from my daughter is he is still out of jail in a different state. He sends her religious stuff on FB or via text messages. That little quote from prior post got me to writing about Johnny, making it too long.
Obvious Johnny is as practiced in the art of deception as his uncle, my ex, was.
