I sat in basically the same spot, but tide was already on its way out. What I did not like the first day was the mossy algae starting right at water's edge ~ thicker as I waded into deeper water. Know there are fish in the lagoon and mussels; paranoid about sea sneaks hiding under the mush, I soon exited the water. It was only slightly better the next day.

Of course the photo does not clearly show the algae.

I was surprised this week when the water was clear, not as much mushy algae, and could walk out above waist deep with out a floor of green at my feet ~ was, however, spongy, squishy sand bottom.
