62 Degrees?

Thermometer at bottom of site says 62 degrees in Long Beach at almost 10AM. If spring has sprung, can summer be far behind? Old ditty. Another from brother ~

Spring has sprung the grass has riz, I wonder where the flowers is.

Alzheimer's begins with short-term memory loss ~ those long ago memories seem to stick around. A sister insists that memory loss is not a sign of impending Alzheimer's ~ that the brain deterioration is not that you forget where a fork is, but you do not know what to do with a fork. I disagree, having watched my mother's progress or downward spiral. Senior moments or short term memory loss was the start of it.

Where was I? Spring. Thermometer also says 88 degrees back home in New Brunswick, NJ, 70 in Allentown PA at almost 1PM. Normally there is not that large a degree difference between the two towns.

Climate change seems more accurate to me than Global Warming. I wake up shivering, thinking how it was on the streets; thankful I am indoors and cold, rather than waking up on cold concrete ~ unable to get warm for hours. This weather is not normal for sunny So Cal. I look more like a Jersey girl than California girl ~ tho' those Jersey (and PA) girls probably have a better tan than I do, right about now.
