Burning Bodies?

Ruby Gonzles. Staff Writer for Long Beach's Press Telegram reported on a body found burning on the side of Hacienda Heights' Trunbull Canyon Rd. The firefighters who put out the fire, mistook the body for a mannequin. They contacted the county's Public Works department who hauled it to the PW's yard, where astute workers noticed blood leaking from the "charred mannequin".

As per the Monday, 4/26/08 article, no cause of death had been determined, but it is known that the man was dead before his body was dumped and set on fire. Jose David Alvardo was last seen alive when he left his home in Norwalk on Saturday. His son said he saw his dad's car in east Los Angeles and the truck was found somewhere in L.A. after his Alvardo's body was identified.

This article caught my eye, due to the recent body burned beyond recognition in Long Beach. I do not get the newspaper everyday and the PT does not make it easy to view online. I know the LB body was found to be a mother of three, but not if any suspects were identified in that crime.
