New York Street Church

Homeless peers called it the New York Street church. The church provids meals for homeless or hungry on Wednesday's around noon time. It was one of the best meals served regularly during my time on the streets. The woman who prepared and served it were lovely. No longer recall the women's names. One lady I especially liked lead a pre-meal prayer service. Her words were always uplifting, a message of hope. A refreshing change from the you are a hopeless sinner that is why you are homeless variet

Took me a while to locate a website for Gospel Memorial Church of God in Christ ~ believe the site is fairly new.
