Play Nice

Did not finish Gemma Halliday's thriller novel, Play Nice. If you like movies with improbable car chase scenes and tiny women with super human strength and abilities to TKO the largest trained assassian bad guy, you might like the story. I tend to skim read over those type of impossible scenarios, but soon lost interest in finding out how this story would end.

A homeless guy brought a dog to an animal shelter: "He was afraid the church wouldn't let him in for the night if he had a dog with him."

True, shelters do not allow homeless people to bring their pets indoors with them. At least not any of the shelters I used duing my homeless days.
