View from back door includes a large palm tree with branches of something white growing on top. Walking to Ralph's I noticed a short palm tree that had something similar. They looked fluffy, so I ran my hand over the blooms, as I do when passing those long skinny fluffy white things whose name I could not locate doing a web search.
The palm blossoms came off in my hand. Not fluffy at all, more waxy. On way home from Ralph's, I decided to grab a few to examine more closely at home. They are indeed blossoms. Found a royalty free image on the web that shows them on a palm tree. The server rejected that image. Maybe it was too large. Will try again and add to a new post if successful.
