50 Degrees

So cold I put blanket over lap and another over shoulders. Temp below shows 50 degrees at 9:41AM. Wonder what it was overnight. On the streets I usually had a Press-Telegram to read everyday, and quite sure I was well aware of any given day's temperatures. I remember how long it took to warm up in the morning; to be able to remove some layers of clothing and jacket.

Fingers slip as I type, shivering. I have throw pillows given me when previous manager left. They are in front of door, yet I still feel a cold breeze on my feet. The weather stripping I added to the sides does not do much good; the ones at the larger, oh, I am guessing, 1/2 inch space below door, shredded. I swear the kitchen floor is on a slant, and know the area in front of the door is askew, due to that weather stipping which did not touch floor with door sliightly ajar.

Can not finish this thought; need to go run hot water shower to steam up bathroom and warm up body. Feel bad using water that way, but...
