Neighbor from Hell

The good thing about street living ~ could pick up bags and leave when bothered by people.

Opted to move from previous apartment ~ one way into bldg., one way out. There was a back door and side walkway/gate; not allowed to use it. This meant that every time I opened my door, neighbor knew I was coming and going. Which would not be a problem ~ "Hi, how ya doing today?" "Fine, and you?" ~ was the extent of interactions.

Me? Knock, knock, who's there, neighbor needs to borrow milk, bread, butter, aluminum foil, spare change, $5.00, $10.00, $20.00, do you know Jesus? Does not matter if you are asleep, bathing, otherwise indisposed, knock, knock, knock, I know you are home, heard your key in the door.

"Where are you going?" None of your business ~ seems rude ~ I do not ask people where they are going ~ and when they ask, I have learned, they have an ulterior motive "While you are there look for a book for me; buy me a pack of smokes, I will pay you on the first, a little bit short right now."

Okay, so I have had some unsavory neighbor including psychopaths get arrested for pulling guns on other female neighbor and the LOUD music all hours day and night. Domestic violent fights. The whole 9 yards. Tired of talking right now.

New neighbor from hell ~ thinks open blind is invitation to press face against screen peering inside looking for me yelling "Hello friend." Lost freedom to open back door, enjoy birds, sky and used to be trees ~ he hears me open my door, he opens his. For a while thought it a co-incidence ~ yet never saw him walk past to take trash out ~ I would quickly close my door ~ he is not type to say "good day" and keep on walking ~ no co-incidence...

Where can a women go to be safe from unwanted attention by men?
