F-Drive

Distressed. Went to copy stuff to DVD's and pop-up message kept rejecting the DVD telling me to place disc in F-drive. Well, it usta be when I popped a DVD in the DVD drawer, a pop-up would list all the documents I had on the DVD. I am really frustrated about this.

My entire homeless story taken from this blog is on those DVD's. I suppose I should have left the documents on the laptop, but my thinking was that if the laptop goes, there goes everything on it, with it. It was just as easy for me to open a document from the DVD, read and edit as it was using Word Processor.

I do have a memory stick to attempt copying the latest photos I have posted here and my new AC articles. But I am distraught about loss of F-drive. I mean, where did it go?

If my F***ing neighbor would shut his....

Okay, that is blaming right? If my neighbors were respectful, obeyed buildings rules about distrubing neighbors, I would not have been forced to leave computer on all night with my Media Player Sleep playlist playing. Do the two things have anything to do with each other?

I think so. That dastardly Yukon Marvel (or is it Marvel Yukon) was back the other morning, despite having left the music playing. Something decided to change Repeat play and I guess good old YM snuck his sneaky little butt right into my computer.

I do not have a radio. The cheapie I bought was eating the last of my cassette tapes, a brand new one, too, Falling Waterfall II a friend specially mailed to me. Plus the radio did not pick up many stations, mostly channels in a language I do not understand. Or if I picked up an old fav station, it would play less than an hour before fading out, replaced by some other station. So anyway...

I learned to never use Windows Media Player when I am on the Internet. I have my own way of organizing stuff, and for Genre, may use 1960s. One of the CD's I listed year of songs by various artists. WMP went ahead and undid all my work, labeling the CD on computer as it would be on the actual CD. They re-ordered everything and took me a long time to find stuff.

So could be WMP snuck in and decided I did not need Repeat that night. Who knows. All I know is I had F-drive and other things that are gone, gone, gone. I do not know how to fix it. Terribly sad.
